| May 12, 2011 canIjack Men's 60 316 posts | We are talking about the Boombah 1.20? The Boombah that I purchased for 99 bucks (silver & black) is a BUST!!!!.I swung it in BP for over a year and it never did perform. Nothing like the Original Boombah Canon- BP 1.205 And I have not swung the Toxic. |
| May 12, 2011 #6 Men's 60 1159 posts | canljack, My bad.........I was talking about the Senior Toxic, It really is a good bat ! |
| May 12, 2011 canIjack Men's 60 316 posts | #6, I'll have to try the Toxic, just to see how it performs, By the way, how the durabilty? Is it more or less dursble than the Gray Combat? |

| May 16, 2011 canIjack Men's 60 316 posts | Armiho211, No, but thanks for the offer. I think I'll swing someones Toxic before I go out and buy it. #6, The Grey Combat is a really good senior bat, But you like the Toxic better uh. I will make it a point to check it out. I'm always looking for a durable senior bat with PoP. |
| May 17, 2011 salio2k Men's 60 548 posts | canIjack......You will break the toxic! Can't go wrong with the grey combat and you know the melee legend has pop. |
| May 17, 2011 canIjack Men's 60 316 posts | Yea, the Combat was my Bat of choice till I got a Melee Legend EL. I'll say this again "Its the best out there for us Seniors".....Oh yea,.... JMO |

| May 29, 2011 surf88 Men's 60 731 posts | Canjack: Get in touch with me. Will you be in Reno? Perhaps we can meet. Staying at Grand Sierra. Will have Melee's. Ed (970) 729-3145 |
| May 31, 2011 canIjack Men's 60 316 posts | Hi Ed, No I'm not going to Reno this year, But I will call you. |
| June 8, 2011 shinsplitter60 5 posts | Had the Boombah. Paid 139.99. Was going to use it for a practice bat. What a piece of junk. It did feel like a log. Had no pop, horrible feel. It had a circular break all aroung at about 110 hits. Don't even think about it. You get what you pay for. |
| June 8, 2011 shinsplitter60 5 posts | Ounce for ounce the Reebok, then the ultra and finally the yellow combat. The yellow doesn't have as much pop, but it is durable. |
| June 9, 2011 mad dog Men's 60 3803 posts | to me pop all the same(or real close),but it is the durability that separates them. to rank them for durability would be this way(only ones i have hit or seen being hit by team mates) 1- combat gray or yellow 2 - the new combat centenarian seems to be holding up good(team mate been swinging one, even in the cold weather we just had in reno) 3 - reebok at the moment, just bought one and will be looking at it closely to me the mikens are the lowest on the pole for durability. |
