Try to find a bat with the same swing weight as your game bat. To determine this put the knob on a stationary object and put a scale under the endcap. Some of my endloades bats have swing weights of 17.9 to 18.2 ounces.

GaCMam,
Buy the Easton Salvo......it's an ASA bat with pop. Our second baseman bought one and it's all he swings in ASA league and Senior tournaments. He hits close to .800 every weekend. $199.99, as soon as I find the 27 oz. here in Austin, I am getting one.

Good luck.

A great bp bat is the miken legacy it has the same feel as the ultra but is durable. You will have to get it on e-bay as they don't make it anymore. I have had mine for over three years

The two piece GBA bat is my batting practice bat. It is holding up very well, but still a little stiff with about 300 swings on it!

GaCMan,I swing a Reebok 27 oz End Load, so I purchased a Reebok Vector 28 oz(USSSA). Great BP bat. Swing the Same Manu factor if possible. The grip and feel is important. The Vector is a slight end load because of the 3 holes in the handle. The ball really jumps. Try and fine the 2010 model, I paid $99.00 thru Anaconda Sports 4 months ago. Good luck
