| July 3, 2011 Big D from Tennessee Men's 50 79 posts | Busch / Pepsi Tourney - Little Rock AR I just returned from the Busch Holiday Tourney in Little Rock It was a fun Seven Team mixed aged group (50-55-60) AAA & Major Mixed. 1. Mizuno (50 Major) - Texas 2. Memphis Edge (55 Major) Tennessee 3. Monster Softball (50 Major) Tennessee 4-7 Mix of AAA Teams (each team played 4 or more games) It was a well run Tourney - Thanks Directors (ISA Sanctioned). More teams should consider this tourney in the future!! Great setting and fields - Lots of Hotels nearby. The Reebok Bats were well represented on most teams - There were no complaints about breakages. It seems like the Kinks are being worked out!! Big D |
| July 4, 2011 Batbreaker Men's 50 79 posts | Does anybody have an update on the player from Monster Softball? How's he doing? Hate to see anyone injured playing this game. The tourn. itsellf was very competetive and run very well. We had a great time and hope to see you guys again in Dalton, GA in a couple weeks. Batbreaker (Texas Silverbacks/Wood Law/ Mizuno) |
| July 4, 2011 ISA Umpire 1 posts | I'm the UIC from this past weekend, the one who wore the orange shirt all weekend. Last I heard he had been released from the hospital and other than a nasty bump, was going to be fine. Me and the other two umpires had a great time this weekend and enjoyed all the teams. Everyone played the game the right way and seemed like you had a great time too. God Bless, Dickey Bennett |
