Just a note about the Huntington Beach Senior Tournament. SINGLE WALL BATS/CRAPPY BALLS, on open fields (ok, a mile from the ocean with nice breezes). It's the 23rd annual, it will be well attended again, and memebers of last year's 50, 55, and 60 Major Plus SSUSA champions will be damn glad to be playing. See, it's not always about the lively bats and balls.

The last few years I've gone, I used my old Demarini Ultimate Weapon Single Wall Bat. From what I remember, No Composite and No 2 piece bats allowed either. Pretty much the old Single Wall Aluminum bats are all that's allowed. If someone has the rules, they could look it up and update us on it.

Bruce,
You have it correct. Single wall aluminum bats and no composite handles. Your only other option for a bat is a wooden bat.

Don N, It is the 26th annual tournament. You are correct, that it will be well attended. It is a nice break from the Ultra II's and other bats.

Have a nice tournament everyone!

Yes, Huntington Beach is single wall aluminum bats. No composite or two piece. Not too much to chose from in bats.

Anyone need a 65+ outfielder or pitcher, I am available. Rick (714)928-7425.
