| July 8, 2011 ShaneV Men's 55 354 posts | Every time I hear these suggestions, two things come to mind: 1. Those of us who work hard to offer events do not determine what teams enter. The teams determine the makeup of each and every event. We just take what we get and do our best. When you talk to tournament directors, ask them if they play senior ball. Ask them if they just take what comes or actually reach out to teams. 2. Who the hell are "they". There is no "they". There is "we" or there is nothing. Get involved. Run an event. Take control of your local senior league or start one or start a new one. ShaneV |

| Oct. 3, 2011 Marv19 Men's 60 355 posts | We'd love to have you. Where are you from? Shane is correct it's the entry's that determine the makeup of any tournament. The sooner you enter the quicker we know. Many of the parks are demanding high $$ deposits. So we need to know a lot sooner than ever before if you're going to be at an event. We survive on you the participants. Just try to be mindful when you say you're going to be at an event. I don't know what RSVP means to you but my x wife who was Mrs Manners said to me once "its like a hand shake between two men". Food for thought. |
