MIKEN "Freak"
I just recently started playing in a senior league here in Tennessee. I begin using a MIKEN FREAK softball bat which I own. The bat is labeled as certified and approved. Yesterday the manager said he had been questioned by other players in the league if the bat had been approved. He teels me the bat was originally approved, but the approval had been recinded and is approved for tournament play only. Does this sound correct? Could this just be a local policy? The bat hits fantasic. May just be the home runs being hit.

Dan, If your senior league is using ASA, USSSA or ISA sanctioned rules, specific approved bats must be used. SSUSA and SPA senior organizations approve of Miken and Reebok bats but this does not necessarily hold true for local leagues in the country. You may wish to acquire an ASA approved bat for your league play and keep your Miken for tournaments in senior approved tourneys.

riderboy 1961 Yes I have 3 Left 2---27oz and a 28, A picture wouldnt show much. These bats were banned in our league after I stocked up on them.I bought 2 off of the Miken truck they belonged to Corky he didnt really want to sell them.I see some of the real high prices for these bats but I cant use them.I have about 15 bats and would consider a trade for a good ASA bat that I could use in our league. Price is $250.. and you pay the shipping. 1 604 599 1555 or g_masters@shaw.ca
