A HOLE NEW WORLD
I want to thank Senior Softball USA for processing my paperwork Very fast in order to allow me to play in the Western Nationials in Vacaville this weekend. I also want to thank O.D.B for giving me the chance to fulfill a dream or goal(not done yet) to play in an arena I have always known of but not played in.I have got to say no disrespect to ALL the teams n leagues I've played in for 40 yrs, but WOW not the same. The 1st day I was laughed out of the park with the bats I brought. Today's tech. is unreal and all sports have changed because of it. I started out slow (or rusty) but as the games kept come n I showed some game. I havnt played competitive ball in over 2 yrs. and needed some love O.D.B gave it to me. I now have a GREAT respect 4 catchers as I caught all wknd,Im a outfielder n pitch but will do wat I can to help n play. I can see in tourney ball ALL positions are needed even more the catcher. If the catcher can not get the ball back to the pitcher in a nice pace thn it throws the pitchers rythem off. Well without getting into alot of detail I did'nt do my job well and our pitcher payed the price. Im thankful to Felice for putting up with me and still being a new friend, even though I made him work his A.. off trying to recieve my throw backs. I had a fantastic time and learned alot hopefully I will get another chance to play. Final stats 8/15 and 6 R.B.Is and alot of sun. Thanks again.

clunk, good to see that you finally found a team to play with. I know you've been searching for awhile. I'd suggest you find a way to start practicing pitching again. Pitchers are always in demand (pitcher friend of mine has been recruited by 4 teams so far for next year).

omar,Thank you 4 sending me postive energy. I had a blast, just wished I could of played 1 of my positions outfield or I do pitch. So hopefuly I will get another shot, My bat came to life but playn catcher for O.D.Bs was not good. The pitcher was VERY good and needed a quick and to a spot throw back and I could not get it done, which threw off his rythem.

I want to thank-you for being there for us this weekend. It was your first senior tourney and like you said your had a little rust to shake off and did so. Don't be so hard on yours self. You came through at the plate at the times we needed. You help us get to the Championship, from a 4th seed. We as a team didn't hit consistently to win it all & the Washington team knows it also. It will all come around. It was a pleasure being your teammate you have a positive attitude and fit well with us. When you have only 10 guys for the weekend a lot can go wrong. Thank-God no major injuries occured & everyone got home safely. Chk this link out for bats

It will let you know the differences of brands and what might suit you best.
Register yourself & handle
Then go into the bats for sell section and pick something you like. Talk to you next tourney.
