Injured Pitcher in Dalton,Georgia
T REXS (Stokes) pitcher of The Wild Bunch was hit in the throat by a ground ball up the middle.
He complained about something loose in his throat and he was coughing up blood. He went to the hospital in Dalton. Can anyone associated with The Wild Bunch tell us anything about his condition? I just hope and pray that he is okay and doing well. After he went out of the game it looked like
The life of the Team was gone. What a shame, Tt was close till he got injured, and then the Minnesota Masters just pulled away...JMO on what I saw.

But back to T REXS, I think that he is just one of the great Ambassadors of the Game of softball then and now, what a competitor. We Play... then we Pray, I'm praying rite now, hoping that he is Okay. Can someone please give us some news or information on his condition? A lot of people are really concern. What a great guy.

Thanks Tom, Yea we felt that we were just as good as any team in our 60 major Brackets (We are). But your team, even 13 runs down in the first two innings, didn't lie down. Good coaching, Your Team was also down to Minnesota Masters and came back to tie by the 3rd or 4th inning. I remember Terrell mentioning that and looking at me and smiling. My lesson for this weekend was "It’s not how you start... but how you finish"! Our team flied out to the right center fielder 3 times in the top of the 7th. "Buzzard Luck"
I can't remember ever seeing that, one guy making all the defensive outs in the 7th inning.
Tom, Good luck to You and your team,

Kennard
