| July 26, 2011 Brett Men's 55 242 posts | TOC Qualification Question To the SSUSA staff: If only one team rated major plus is entered in a tournament and is combined in to a platinum division with major teams in the same age division using the equalizer rules, does the major plus team recieve an automatic TOC birth? |

| July 26, 2011 DoubleL10 Men's 65 765 posts | I know if I were on a Major team having to play against Major Plus team(s), I would be afraid of winning - even with the equalizer since, it appears, our team would be moved to Major Plus. Now, if we won without an "equalizer", I would have no problem moving up. The 5-run per inning max, lower team HR limit and 5-run spot are a lot to overcome especially if you wind up playing on a field with the wind blowing in which, basically, negates the HR power of the higher-rated team. Been there and done that... |
