| July 26, 2011 Enviro-Vac Men's 60 364 posts | Great idea as with two strikes you usually go middle |
| July 26, 2011 Robo2 201 posts | That would make the game go on forever; as it did prior to senior ball many years ago. A batter would keep fouling off balls until he got one he liked. a good idea in theory, but I respectfully disagree. |
| July 26, 2011 Enviro-Vac Men's 60 364 posts | Your right Robo2, I misread Dogs post. |
| July 26, 2011 mad dog Men's 60 3812 posts | you guys are right that it would take fore ever to play, but maybe the ones who feel the need to hit middle when hrs are gone would attempt to pull instead of trying to injure a pitcher. |
| July 26, 2011 cal50 Men's 50 226 posts | I don't know of a single person who tries to injure a pitcher. |
| July 26, 2011 Gary19 Men's 50 2622 posts | Unlimited fouls is how we used to play. How many were complaining in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s that games were taking too long? We were happy to be playing, and time was seldom if ever an issue. |
| July 26, 2011 mad dog Men's 60 3812 posts | cal50,when a person says b/c hrs are gone they'll have to go middle,what is that meaning then. |
| July 26, 2011 cal50 Men's 50 226 posts | It usually means they can't control their swing to pull or to go opposite. Sure some go the middle but I think very very few try to intentionally injure the pitcher as you said. (I rarely go the middle although I can, I think it is easier to hit either way), |
| July 26, 2011 mad dog Men's 60 3812 posts | yes that is true cal,but they say it this way,"if hrs are gone, and are outs,we have to hit middle"....just saying why even say it for an excuse. |
