Solar bat warmers
Anyone know where I might find the address for a company in Arizona that sells solar bat warmers? The last one I bought was several years ago for about $18.00.

creaker, what happens when a warm bat hits a cold ball? sounds like trouble to me. unless you have already experienced positive results in the past, i would hate to use my good bat in such a situation . maybe an old bat. my .o2 cents. maybe somebody else can express their experiences. thanks.

When the bat warmers came out in 2000 I asked Brett Helmer what he thought. He gave me the same answer as armiho211, he said he would rather have a ball warmer.

I believe a cold ball travels further. In a tournament last year, where the teams supplied the balls, one team had a cooler with ice or dry ice to keep the balls cold. When they got up they would throw in a fresh cold ball and put the one that was out back into the cooler. I believe the ball travels betteron hot moist days but a cold ball is denser and will travel further on those hot days.

I have a solar power bat warmer that holds 8 bats. On sunny days (which doesn't happen to often up here) you can put the bats in there for about 20 minutes, pull them out and hold on to the barrell! Burns your hand in 5 seconds! As for hitting, it absolutely makes a difference! You don't even feel the ball coming off the bat! The one you get up here goes for about $100 Can.Our whole team swears by that bat box!

This is the address and phone number of the guy who has the patent on and makes the solar bat warmer. They really heat up the bat.
