55 yr old looking to join a team in Sacramento
I have played for 30+ years....excellant/accurate pitcher.
I am also a very good first baseman, catcher and right or right centerfielder. I can hit to all fields, have average power but not homerun hitter.

Randell, are you playing any league ball right now? What teams have you played for in the past? Are they local Sacramento teams? please list a few. We are looking for a back-up pitcher to help us finish the season, so we may need your services. Are you registered with Senior Softball? talk to me...

I played on the same Mt Shasta C division team from 1979-1994. I played first base, catcher, back up pitcher, right and right centerfield. I played in the Elk Grove Baptist church league for a couple of years from 1996-98. I then played on Beer After, D Division, an Elk Grove recreation team from 1999-2005. Beer After played from March---October, 3 sessions a year. I am currently playing on CCLC, D division team, in the Elk Grove Rec. League. I am currently playing only on Monday nights in Elk Grove.
I have 2 pitches...normal and knuckle ball that floats and appears to wobble. I am a right hand batter who can hit to all fields, but prefers to hit to right field. I am currently not registered with Senior Softball.

Have you ever played tournament ball at any level? You need to do a few things. First and foremost you need to register with Senior Softball, as you cannot play in their tournaments until you register with them. The next tournament we are entering is 24/25 in Yuba City. Next you need to give me a phone number to call you so I can explain to you who I am and some next steps. look forward to talking to you.

When I played in Mt Shasta from 1979--1994, I played in about 3-5 weekend single and double elimination tournaments a year. I played in tournaments held in Yreka, Weed, Mt Shasta, McCloud, Dunsmuir and Redding. The softball season in Mt Shasta is short and only runs from around June to Sept. I have not played in any weekend tournaments since that time. I have played in a large number of Elk Grove Rec Division end of the season division championship tournaments. My e-mail is rjputnam@frontiernet.net and cell # is 916-544-2721

Thanks
