| Sept. 5, 2011 MRC 12 posts | Why? Why is it USSSA can post statistics before Tournament (teams, game time, field #); during Tournament (within a 20 minute time frame of game completion - including scores, next game inf.) and at end of Tournament. Our son played in the Great Lakes Nationals SPMensE and we could find inf. almost immediately. What is wrong with SPA not getting inf. out in a timely manner? |

Could also be number of parks, fields, & teams entered. Not all 'assn's are equal in response time for those mentioned but I think they do the best they can. I know one who occasionally doesn't do any of it depending on which T it is put on by whom. I am sure it will be there when they can get it posted. |
| Sept. 5, 2011 MRC 12 posts | There were 74 teams, 6 fields - With as much money that is paid for Senior tournaments, maybe it would be a good idea to "hire" someone to take care of statistics. The website I was speaking of has Nationals and World Series inf. since Jan 2011. |
| Sept. 5, 2011 taits Men's 65 3999 posts | I won't address the "hire" process, but I see the T was a good sized one and can see why you feel as you do. I can not speak for any other than myself on this, but with the tablets, smart phones and PC's I would think it could be faster than it is. You might ask those at SPA via the phone or email or letter with return self addressed envelope, to see if you get a reply. If you do the latter it would be interesting to read here if you got a reply from them, but I'd give them about a month to come up with something. |
