Largely attended tourney's
Other than Spa Nationals, what are the consistently large tourney's in the east and midwest?
Our team would like to plan on attending one in 2012.

Your best bet is to go the the SSUSA, SPA and ISSA tournament sites.

SPA lists attendance and scores of all qualifiers and nationals; ISSA lists attending teams of all tournaments and SSUSA lists the attendees and scores of all their Nationals and a few qualifiers.

According to the tournaments and attendees listed at all three tournaments (and subtracting 40-and-under and women's teams)the biggest midwest/Eastern draws woulde be, of course, SSUSA's Fort Myers Winter Nationals (147) and TOC as well as SPA's Dalton Nationals (140).

ISSA and qualifier tournament attendance figures of the top ten are:

1. ISSA Worlds, Manassas - 76
2. THEE SPA Buckeye Classic Qualifier, Akron - 72 * only AA and AAA teams
3. SPA Glen Burnie Qualifier,Maryland 58
4. ISSA World Cup, Virginia 57
5. SSUSA Midwest Championships, Kansas 51
6. SSUSA Northern Nationals, Michigan 47
7. SSUSA Cape May Tournament, NJ - 43
8. SSUSA Eastern Nationals, Raleigh 41
9. SPA Heart of Ohio Qualifier, Columbus,Ohio - 39 * only AA and AAA teams
10. SPA Sylvania, Ohio Qualifier 35 Only AA and AAA teams.

But as I mentioned, your best bet are to visit all three organizations tournament web page where the info should be available.

The 2011 ISSA Winter Nationals held in Virginia Beach currently has 61 registered teams which would put it at #3.
