| Oct. 11, 2011 wagon487 Men's 50 503 posts | What about IMS Dogs, they beat High Street, ENR and Rochester 50's to win the ISSA in August |
| Oct. 11, 2011 Batbreaker Men's 50 79 posts | I looked for them wagon but, didnt see them on the participant list. Are they going? |
| Oct. 11, 2011 Brett Men's 55 244 posts | The following Midwest teams will be very competitive - J & J Sports, Windy City Softball, Coors Light, and 50 Calibur. |
| Oct. 11, 2011 Brett Men's 55 244 posts | Midwest teams have won the 50+ major division 3 out of the last 4 years......2007, 2008, and 2009. |
| Oct. 11, 2011 wagon487 Men's 50 503 posts | Bat, we are not going, I was just bragging:) I'll be there playing 55 major plus with Spicers. We did you see the list of teams? Thanks... |

| Oct. 11, 2011 Batbreaker Men's 50 79 posts | wagon dont blame you for patting yourself on the back you guys had a great year!! good luck with Spicers |
| Oct. 11, 2011 Batbreaker Men's 50 79 posts | Brett, Seems odd to me that all those teams asked for and recieved ratings reductions ( Major Plus > Major after winning world tourns) Whats up with that? |
| Oct. 11, 2011 Brett Men's 55 244 posts | Players come and go and rosters change for various reasons....injuries, moving up in age, etc. Yes, three of the teams played at the major plus level for 2 years and their appeals to move back down were granted accordingly at different times. |
| Oct. 11, 2011 Mr Ed 6 posts | i believe the competition will be very good this year. It was one of the best tournament experiences I've ever had playing last year and this year looks even better. I am counting the days until we get to play and thanks for putting my team on your top ten list. |

| Oct. 14, 2011 Batbreaker Men's 50 79 posts | Mr. Ed I think you are right looks like atleast 7 regional winners in the field and, most had very competitve brackets to win should be fun. |
| Oct. 17, 2011 rightrj1 Men's 55 165 posts | Look like a great turnout for the 50’s major division.. wow 32 teams, great people & great competition! Let’s hope the winner of this division doesn’t lose their 1st game…lol I for one, can’t wait to compete & hopefully my team WEST COAST will prevail on top! Guys have a safe trip & be ready to bring IT! |
| Oct. 17, 2011 Jawood Men's 50 743 posts | That is a great tournament! About a half a dozen of the teams could very easily be in the Major-plus to give that division a decent field, number wise. |
| Oct. 17, 2011 rightrj1 Men's 55 165 posts | Jawood, So you're saying that the top 10 teams in the Major division should be moved up to Major +? To me that would be the only way to have a competitive Major + division throughout the season. I think the reason why most Major teams don't want to play Major + is because of the low #'s of team in these big tournaments? Just isn’t that much fun playing the same teams over & over!! I’m in favor of Pricer’s 2 division only format! Majors & AAA 12 homers per team in Majors & NO HRS in AAA all others that can’t compete can play league ball! but that's just Me! |
| Oct. 18, 2011 Batbreaker Men's 50 79 posts | I think we should merge Major and Major Plus in 50 and 55 because lots of teams can hit Hr's at will, but the Major teams I have talked to dont want to play Major because of lack of teams, not because of tougher competition. I f we had done that this year we would have a 39 team bracket in 50's and the top preforming teams would recieve a bye in the first round of bracket play, that gives incentive to teams during RR games. No first round bye this year, just warm-up games, don't get hurt and, be ready for Bracket play. JMO |
| Oct. 18, 2011 Jawood Men's 50 743 posts | Yes, the biggest reason IS the lack of teams! The only time they can even hold a decent tournament is the Worlds and Reno, and even then we only have very few ... 7 in Phoenix and 4 in Reno. It is a joke that the brass thinks that this is enough to warrant a separate division and they have made it even more unattractive next year by upping the HR and run rules. I don't know what they are thinking! Do you see what people are saying, SSUSA? We want more teams to play, not more HR's and runs! |
