If you are interested there is a league in Barberton that has a number of age groups you would be eligible for. Not right in your neighborhood, but with highways it is a makeable trip.

Quality varies. There are some really good guys who play travel on weekends as well, and then guys who just like to get out and play some ball a night or two a week.

And yea, MUCH closer for you than Austintown.

Scotty-----I may have missed something here, you say you played in Austintown, but "where" do you live in northeast ohio? Are you in the Youngstown/Austintown area?

Your thread says you are looking for "Cleveland Area"

How far do you want to go to play in a league, and how many tournaments a year is "good for you"??

you can also e-mail me at cpoacleveland@hotmail.com

Scotty21, Hi, I am the coach of the Dayton Legends 55+ team and I would like to talk with you. Are you still looking for a senior traveling team in 2012? I am looking for a pitcher and wonder if you pitch? One other person, Paul from Canton, was also trying to contact you. So you know, Paul plays on my team.

If interested, please reply and then we can talk.

Thanks, Dennis

Gee, thanks for the inane interjection, sad pup.

I would play AAA and up, but with the hope we would earn the right to move up. That is what we always were trying to do in my 20s, why would I look at it any differently now?

17black or Jet. You have a qualified pitcher saying he would play AAA to start with, has anyone contacted him? (Gary19)
Seems to be willing to play down to AAA (not sure of his rating) and move up when the team plays well. Have you given him a consideration? He lives in the Cleveland area, close by.

I have to be honest. I am not sure who is who on the stream of messages, but yes, I am still looking for a full-time pitcher for the Dayton Legends 55 AAA team. So whoever is interested in talking with me, please send me an email to dennisditmer@gmail.com.

Thanks, Dennis

Scott: We have a 55AAA tournament team (5 - 6 tournaments/per year, once per month) & we are based in Brookpark. This year we played 4 tournaments in Ohio & in Myrtle Beach in October. If you are interested in talking please send me an E-Mail: BMB@juno.com
