New 60 Major Plus team looking for players!!
We are still trying to put together a 60 Major Plus team. Any position is available, but we are primarily looking for 1-2 SS and a couple of outfielders. If you are a great hitter, we will find you a position. We are based out of So. California. We would like to play our first tournament in January, but are in need of at least 4 more players. You can email me at DukeLA4@aol.com.

Thanks,

Andy Smith,

Thanks,

Hello Andy, yes this is Dennis Castro, yes i owe sdsharksbb an a apology, SB. i really wanted to play with you last year very badly. I had played early in the week with the team from San Jose. Well the thing is i had just gotten married 2 weeks early. New wife had never been around softball ever. I played early in that week in the rain, and wind, i really thought she was going to died, or something. When it came time to play that weekend with you, she wanted to have nothing to do with it. i,ve had a year now to let her know how importain it is to me, to play. Guys i am a good guy, i,ve learned over the years, its better to give in to her, than not. I,ve made many mistakes with women over the years. Sorry guys i,ll make good, just need the chance. O-YES SALIO2K I,D HADDEN PLAYED IN OVER 10 YEARS, AND WENT 8-17 ICE COLD. I,LL MATCH MY BAT WITH YOU ANY DAY. REALLY.SB sorry saw you guys had a very tourny, really wanted to play in tyhat park with the carpit. been here 10 years never play any of these park, I REALLY COULD HAVE HELPED YOU. SOFTBALL FRIEND DENNIS.

"I still can hit. I played last year Rock n Reno, with a team from San Jose Calif, an add on. I went 8 for 17, 3 doubles one long home run".

You're the one who came on here bragging about those lousy stats. You can't play M+ with stats like that. Unless you're the sponsor. Hell, Andy will have 8 hits in the first two games!

Hey salio2k i,m sorry if i rubbed you the wrong way. I,m very sure Andy is a great hitter, I guess i,m out of line here, because yes its been 10 years since i played competative, and i,ve only played a couple of years of SLOW PITCH then. If you get a chance look up Nava Sports, out of Hayward Calif. yes that is who i played for 20 years, major fast pitch, if you ever seen a game of that, you,ll know i,m a hitter. not just any body play,d that. 1972 through 1994, fast pitch has died, now, so i love softball, so i will play what there is now. IF you guys played fast pitch too, then you,ll know what i,m talking about. Put your stats up in that type of softball, i hit hit 350 there. That is were i got my nick name. THE HIT MAN. I,ll give you phone numbers of guys i used to play with, in the bay area, they gave me that name. any way i,m sorry i was an ass, didn,t mean to be. But your the one who jumped on me first, yes i didnt hit at least 500, but it had been a long time for me between games. Hope we can be friends some day. Who knows with our luck, we end up being team mates. Have a good season take care.

mrhitman........No need to be sorry. I'm the one who started it. I remembered when you didn't give
sdsharksbb notification that you would not be in Reno. That' over now. A lot of fast-pitch players have trouble with slow pitch. I'm sure that with more playing you will get better. Using a Tee for practice really helps. Just be nice to the little lady if you want to keep playing.

Thanks for all the interest guys. We never got this off the ground, and everyone is playing on other teams. We will have served our death sentence when November 1 2012 comes around. We will then start a new 60 Major team, where there are more players to choose from and more teams to play. Because of this sudden interest, I have received and called several players who emailed me, that are very interested in playing on my team next season. I will contact those players and others some time in August/September, when I and 2 others start putting together our roster. If anyone is interested, you can email me at dukela4@aol.com. We plan on playing 2 informal tournaments in the summer to look at some of the new players, so we can make a good decision and those players can meet us and see if they might be happy with us as well.

Hey Sal, Hope all is going well. Thanks for the plug. In the future when I need an agent, I know who to call. LOL! Take care and see you on the fields. Don't hurt me, I am old.

SD, thank you for your concerns. Hope all is going well for you. What team are you playing on now?

Back to my tax returns for now.

Andy Smith,
