Gary-they let me know that, but gave me a pass-kinda-this weekend. It was great seeing you again, my friend. I will have to get out and buy some pants with that braid and have them cut off. Pants don't go over or under that brace well. I wanted to make sure they do want me on the team.
Weather was perfect for February. See you in a month.

Webbie with you hitting 4 home runs during 1 game I do not think you have to worry about playing with them. I enjoyed watching your team and talking with Ron D.. See you in March. GI

How did the upper division finish up? The Bandits took second, losing to Az. Old School.

Webbie,

4 HR's in one game, i don't remember seeing anything on the news about hurricane winds in the Phoenix area last weekend. Sounds like you had a great game. Keep it up and i look forward to seeing you guys in Vegas.

Webbie also came in to pinch hit late in a game against us. Comes off the bench and hits the first pitch over the right field fence. No wind. Nice finally meeting you too!

Webbie it sure is great to hear that I am not the only pitcher that cannot keep you in the park. I still an trying to figure out how you hit my illegal 16 foot pitch , Sun in your eyes oppisite field over the fence for a homerun. No wonder you break bats. We need to get you a second job so you have to retire from playing. Just kidding, love to pitch against you, maybe a 20 footer next time. GI

GI-look what you started! Guys, thanks for all the well wishing. I am happy and awed a bit to be a part of a team with 5 hall-of-fame players (I think it's 5) on it. They have been super to play with so far and have made me feel welcome and I look forward to being a part of this team. The best fun for me has been getting to know a lot of you through this message board and then on the field. I will remember that a long time after forgetting about a good individual game. You guys should know about some of the shots Steve Imlay, and Mike Adair, and Fred Purvis and Pete Houghton hit this weekend, too. I will be a small part of a very good team-and loving it.
PS the wind WAS blowing out to right that one game.

Webbie,

Your right its all about the people you meet in this game; 4 hrs one game and 0-4 the next but the good people will still be there for you. No one better in my mind then Steve Imlay, i've played with or against the others you mentioned and i enjoy being around them all. Again sorry we won't see you guys in Mesquite/St. George but i look forward to Vegas in April.
