The amount of money we have to spend to play in these tournaments and travel expenses to and from and the fact that financially we are not able to go to all the tounaments we would like to, you would think the tournament directors would give us more than 2 weeks to find reasonable rates for lodging to save money because of that ststed above. I.E.....spring worlds two venues to play at BUT 50 miles apart with only 2 weeks to get accomodations. Now it's a week away and still no schedule, no wonder teams aren't going to tournaments! GOT TO BE A BETTER ORGANIZED SYSTEM TO MAKE IT EASIER AND LESS EXPENSIVE TO DO THIS GUYS. Get it done!!!!!!! Shark |

| March 18, 2012 Chief144 Men's 70 160 posts | I believe the playing sites were posted at least 30 days ago. If you look on the Msg board you can already see where you will be playing in Reno. That is not until Jun, so that should give you time to find a room! Yes, it says it is "tentative" playing sites, but I have yet to see them change. Don't blame someone else for your failure to get the info in a timely manner! |
| March 18, 2012 goforit 97 posts | There are two or three casinos in Mesquite, but they fill up fast even when there isn't a softball tournament. Its only about a 35 minute drive to St. George or Mesquite depending on where you play and end up staying. Plus even if you play in St. George and stay in Mesquite the rooms will be cheaper to offset the extra gas. |
