Baden bat?
I've moved this to a new thread for #6.
Bruce

Guys sorry I tried to change the topic, but it wouldn't open the "start a new discussion" page for me.
Here is my question :

I was watching my Grandson play in the State High School pLayoffs at Dell Diamond yesterday when I saw a Baden Rep there set up at a table.....he had some baseball bats and bat bags and since I am Rep for Tanel we got to talking about bats.......Baden has a bat out that the Rep told me was about $300 and he said it was "hot" out of the wrapper........has anyone heard or used this Baden bat? And if so your comments on it please. He wants to trade me one for some Tanel stuff....BTW, my Grandson won and is playing at 11:30 today for the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP !!!! GO WOLVERINES !!!!

I hope you grandson and his team did well!

The only Baden bat that I've heard of is the Ax or Axe from two or three years ago. I never saw one but hear the handle was oval, allowing the user to hit only on two sided of the barrel.

I was down in Round Rock myself helping out some with the TWC broadcasters. Just a little brother-in-law job that paid zero. Wednesday and Thursday were grueling. Extra innings and rain.

I had a good time seeing that how I umpired with TASO until just recently. I was acquainted with some of the players, coaches and umpires. I really didn't do much, but those four ballgames a day were a b*tch. A&M Consolidated and Corpus Christi Carroll was a great game.

I saw Arlington Martin, and Southlake Carroll the weekend before. I knew Martin wasn't going anywhere if they made the state tourney.

The city for baseball in Texas is by far Corpus Christi. Carroll, Moody, Callallen, and West Oso are always knocking on that state championship door. They play baseball on the Gulf Coast even on Christmas day. All those kids want to get out, and use their new toys.

Don't think I would buy one. No real info on site just kinda sketchy. No warranty info either. Pic you can view close up on shows a uneven end cap different style 'knob' Which I might like however. Down side on one issue is its made for one sided hitting. Meaning you don't rotate it.
Scrawl down on link to watch 'video that isn't all that informative.
