SSUSA needs to Qualify warranted Bats only
The Miken Ultras take some time to break in and then they Break.
This is a Common experience and not unusual at all.
One of mine barely lasted a year the other lasted one tournament plus practice.
I can not afford 2-3 bats a year as I am sure many can't.
Also they are too hot as we had two players Very seriously injured by them in the last tournament and several other less serious injuries in the first tournament.
I believe that fielding is an art and a big part of the game but these HOT bats take too much of
that skill away. The outfield just plays the fence and that takes away some fielding also. I see more true competition at the wood bat tournament. We need safer bats and less 'hot' bats - I am a home run hitter but with lesser bats many would still hit some and certainly over the fielders heads , it is all relative. Thus I vote a petition for the SSUSA to only sanction warranted bats at a lower BPF level
and get back to real baseball like the Rockies did with the humidor.FREAK style should be the maximum as they are plenty hot and 300 ft home runs are very doable anyway with them.
I hear these comments from many players but do not know if SSUSA has had a serious discussion about it?

That won't happen but warranted bats will raise the cost of them to 300 where they were and some are that have them.
More on the Miken warranty story later, one way or another.
