| June 23, 2012 Pee19wee 3 posts | Umpire Situation I am new to this board and have a question. Since SSUSA has relieved some of their top umpires, where do they plan to find umpires to take their place? Word of the street is that the ones that were fired were the lead umpires and were respected by ALL others, who now are considering not working and showing their loyalty. SSUSA should have researched the TRUE facts before they jumped the gun and fired people. We finally had some great umpires in this organization and now the learning process will start all over again. What is going to happen in Vegas when they have 400 teams and no umpires or poorly trained ones? Just saying SSUSA! |
| June 23, 2012 SSUSA Staff 787 posts | SSUSA is pleased at retaining a significant majority of regional UIC's in the aftermath of relieving the National UIC and only four regional UIC's of their duties. Each remaining UIC and all of our exceptional umpires are as committed as we are to having an outstanding World Masters Championships in Las Vegas in September and October. Each year we have brought in our finest umpires from around the country for this event, and this year will be no exception. |

Are you considering not playing to show your loyalty? Pee19wee should have researched the TRUE facts before jumping the gun with his statement. Just saying. |

Learned a long time ago get both sides of the story.. Pee, I'm sure the staff knew what they was doin b4 they jumped the gun on this matter.. An organization as big as this doesn't jeopardize themselves without having the facts.. |

| June 24, 2012 taits Men's 65 3999 posts | Joe, Don't they both have to do with the game they both are in and run by an entity? What ever the reason was I think it started at some time BEFORE Reno. It just came to a head there for what ever reason. |
