Ultra 2 problems
Curious here:
Staff, you say Miken identified the SOURCE for problem & was corrected... But what about the bats that are still out there. They do not have serial numbers or so I was told. So how do they know for sure it's completely taken care of. I have one in the wrapper. So how do I know it's not one of the duds?

That is my question so many people here in Houston are complainning no matter how many hits the bat never breaks in .You can tell by the sound thud. Not me but big guys hard hitters complainning .I cut a broken one open .i believe they are not Ultra's. Compairing them to other broken Ultra's.

I had the same problem. Returned it to Miken through their web site. They replaced the bat within 2 weeks no questions asked.

JR,
I have one of the first ones out. About the top 8 inches of it I kept. Black thread like fibers with what looks like scotch tape between the sharp as heck layers.
Sound like the same insides?
