| Aug. 16, 2012 Tim Millette 615 posts | Barons at NCSSA finals.... I heard a rumor that SSUSA is going to be watching the Barons in this weekends NCSSA hall of Fame tourney. Is it possible that since the Barons have a record of 11-2 against the Major Plus East Bay Oldies, and something like 5-4 over the Longhorns over the last two seasons that SSUSA could actually bump them to Plus if they continue their dominance over the Oldies and Longhorns? I really cannot understand that they would consider doing it to the Barons considering the homerun rule difference between SSUSA and NCSSA??????? Is this rumor possibly true????? |

Mike said you guys never lost to the Oldies last year....9-0... Don't know if that was true or not. For the record...... I don't think you guys should get bumped in SSUSA because you have been beating 50 plus teams in NCSSA..... Different homerun rules.... Different game...... |

As far as sandbagging??? Maybe you can explain.... What team are you talking about???? I see sandbagging as playing down? If your talking about our team.... We have proven on the field to an average Major team..... 2-4 worlds in '10, 4-2 worlds '11. If you would like to compare how our teams have done head to head over the last two seasons in events we were both in let's do it??? Without a doubt your team has faired better then us in the majority of tourneys we both were in.... Let's see "11 major Worlds.... We tied for 12th, Barons 5th? Reno last year I think we placed ahead of you? Vacaville last year you eliminated us NCSSA hall of fame last year your team lost winning it to the longhorns by one run This year.... The one tourney we were both in you guys won, we came in second. I don't understand your attack the barons thing.... I give your team props for being good enough to earn one of the rare senior manufacturer bat contracts from Demarini. In the post I started on this thread I said I don't think it's right for SSUSA to consider bumping you based on how well you have played in NCSSA over the last two years. Can you please give examples of my jabs at the Barons team? As far as looking forward to seeing me Saturday goes.... I to love to see everyone on the weekends I play...... Softball is a great hobby... I cherish every minute at the fields. Mule..... I don't understand your personal attack/name calling???????? First Swing and now you.... Maybe you guys can post the reasons for such heated words...... |

But we all know your intent is to tease and ridicule...with all the "Pickle Juice" comments and countless other post to Swing or just the Barons in general. Do us all a favor and let it go already. I am sorry if you have have perceived my thoughts as "Heated Words". I'm only reacting to how your words make me feel. You gotta admit the "salty pickle juice" SF league player stuff was funny.... Then to see the new Demars are pickle green...lol.... How can any fun loving guy get pissed about that? I guess my lack of sensitivity doesn't allow for understanding the sensitive ones... And then on this thread....... At BP on Tuesday one of the guys was saying Heinstein said if you guys win against the longhorns you were going to get bumped to Plus. I just put this subject out there saying I didn't think it would be right if you guys got bumped because of NCSSA games....now if you guys go and dominate Major Worlds...that's a different story. In closing.... I admit to teasing ALL THE DAMN TIME...... But, you will be hard pressed to find any examples of redicule from me when it comes to softball players/playing...and...I admit sensitive individuals and I have never meshed well. Something about a difference in skin thickness and dexterity... |
