| Aug. 20, 2012 Mr. Manassas 215 posts | Burlington I was wondering who would be going to Burlington on Labor Day in the 60 major? |
| Aug. 20, 2012 BruceinGa Men's 60 2438 posts | Billy, I had told Carson last week that we would be there. This past weekend we found that a couple of our players can't make it so we are still exploring other ways to make it there. |

| Aug. 20, 2012 turn2 482 posts | They are using the tattoo 44/375 ball and senior bats. Why don't people want to go? This is driving distance and why would teams not attend something that you could drive? Donnie turn two |
| Aug. 20, 2012 birdie Men's 60 654 posts | I think that the word had not gotten out about the ASA changes in bats. As for the NVFORCE team not being there. I think we all know the answer to that question. Thanks Harry |
| Aug. 20, 2012 BruceinGa Men's 60 2438 posts | Birdie, you should reconsider. Teams aren't allowed to pick up and from outside their areas. This evens the playing field somewhat. |
| Aug. 20, 2012 birdie Men's 60 654 posts | Bruce, We tried that in Manassas and wasted our money. Lucky it was just a local tourney for us, so we did not have alot of travel expense. Thanks Harry |
| Aug. 21, 2012 turn2 482 posts | Just looked at the website for the Burlington tourney andeit looks like they have added some more teams. |
| Aug. 21, 2012 Webbie25 Men's 60 1803 posts | birdie, turn2, Bruce-back in the 70's and 80's the major tournaments were all on holiday weekends. It just could be that a lot of players spent EVERY holiday at tournaments and the wives got upset, and now 'request' their husband's presence at a vacation weekend. I know my wife was happy our foray into Hemet got called off for Labor Day. |
