Combat Ambush receives final approval and certification from SSUSA
Hello guys,
I briefly outlined the two issues revolving around the new Ambush certification a day or two ago. Just wanted you to be aware that the bat has received official approval from the SSUSA on both aspects...performance certification and the certification stamp on the bat. I want to publicly thank the SSUSA for working through the process with us and greatly appreciate the combined efforts of Combat and all the staff at the SSUSA. If you have any questions concerning the new Ambush, please feel free to contact me at 561-718-7504 or tricoach18@att.net
Thank You,
Alan Tanner

Very good bat. Mine is yet to be broken in with about 140 on it. I can not hear certain tones so sound differences in bat will be a problem with me.

Alan, Let me be sure that what I am reading is correct. You sold us a bat that was not yet approved or certified by SSUSA but it does have the SSUSA approval logo stamped on the bat. That sounds shady to me, but as long as it gotten the SSUSA blessing I am fine. Your reputation might be on the line on this one...I am just saying. I am hitting with it this evening. Have a nice day.

Paco,
Not exactly the case. I explained it carefully on a previous post. The bat was indepandantly tested and approved for all senior softball (where senior bats are allowed) BEFORE we released the bat. There was a paperwork and Logo issue that was immediately resolved that had to do with the SSUSA which they worked out with us quickly. The Ambush has been and will continue to be allowed in all tournament and league play where senior bats are allowed. Again, my thanks to the SSUSA for working quickly with us to clear this up.
