This is a senior world and nobody is interested. Are there any teams in the Maryland, N.J. and New York area going?

I found this, 2 HR for rec and 5 in the compeititve. both are one up and outs. i think they use senior bats. Bob holland is in charge of this.

going by thier website, last year it looks like there was two nationals, one west and one east, total teams for both? 18, give or take a team. 4 teams were the most in any age / skill level.
Maybe bob needs to get on here and explain things.

USSSA means no senior bats allowed. Only USSSA approved bats may be used.

Most of the USSSA bats are just as hot as the senior bats. We had the yellow mm combats testing a few years ago in the Smokies. We were there to watch the young guys and most of the USSSA bats tested alot hotter than our 2 senior bats. If the believe in the bat tester.

Tried to contact Bob Holland numberous times since Ocean City tourney on Labor Day. Finally got the skinny. It is a standard USSSA tournament just with age restrictions. Usual pitching antics and low arc are the norm. None of the senior rules you have come to be familiar with will be used. I think Bob is out of touch with the senior game as we know it. In spite of both Glen Burnie Md and Cape May NJ being the same distance from our area, we will choose Cape May that weekend just because we would prefer to use senior equipment and get a good look at our new guys using it.

Bernie.Good points about the Utrip rules (don't mind them) but have you tried a USSSA bat lately? We didn't even own 1 among us so we got one for this. Holycow! Hot! Our guys don't like the fields in either CapeMay venue. Good luck.

Poor communication. Should have left this one in Maumee.I was told no 50 Major teams entered .
