LVSSA/SSUSA WORLD MASTERS 2012 • DRAFT Game Schedules & Brackets
DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for the 2012 LVSSA/SSUSA World Masters Championships in Las Vegas and Henderson, NV, are being posted as they are completed and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament Page ... As always, these TENTATIVE schedules are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" at the Manager's meeting before play commences ...

NOTE: Managers who do NOT attend the meeting will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters (such as schedule changes, tourney formats and rules issues) discussed at the meeting. Tournament rosters are “frozen” as of the Manager’s Meeting. NO on-site player additions are allowed without Tournament Director approval before team’s first game. Managers who do not attend Manager Meeting, and do not send a representative, will be prohibited from beginning tournament play before check-in with Field Director and are prohibited from Roster additions ...

The Master Games & Fields Grid and other relevant information links have also been posted on the Tournament page ... Good luck to all!

NOTE: Seeding Game schedules are being posted first in order to get this information out to all of the teams as quickly as possible. Brackets will follow shortly thereafter.

SESSION #1 DRAFT tournament brackets have been posted. They are available from the links above and from the Tournament page. Several of the brackets, because of the entry loads, play at more than one facility. Please familiarize yourself with those brackets before you get to Las Vegas.

REVISION • 65-MAJOR SEEDING • The Monday Seeding Round games for the 65-Major division at Shadow Rock Park have been revised. The initial DRAFT schedule contained a conflict for a Hall of Fame inductee and his team being scheduled to play at the same time as the Opening Ceremonies and his HoF induction at Big League Dreams. The revised schedule and updated Master Grid have been posted. We apologize for any inconvenience.

REVISION • 60-AA DIVISION • Due to the withdrawal of a 60-AA team this morning (Lincoln Hills Coyotes-Black), the seeding games and bracket schedules were revised. The Division is now comprised of 18 teams. Changes are nominal in most regards, but supersede any previous versions. We apologize for any inconvenience.

50-AAA SEEDING ROUNDS & BRACKETS • The Seeding Round and Bracket Game schedules for the 50-AAA Division have been posted and are available from the links referenced above ... Some notes are appropriate ...

• The 49-Team division represents the largest bracket in our history. The former largest was also the 50-AAA, in 2004 with 34 teams. Two brackets this year (60-AAA at 38 teams) are larger, and one this year (50-Major at 33 teams) is a close runner-up.
• Seeding games ARE important in this division. The Bracket has 113 games! A team earning a bye can win the championship in 6 games if they remain unbeaten. A team that doesn't earn a bye and loses it's first bracket game can certainly still win it all. They would do so in their 14th game, including the 2 seeding games, on Sunday afternoon.
• Seeding is occurring at three facilities (Big League Dreams, Cheyenne Park and Shadow Rock Park) Friday, and bracket play will occur in four separate complexes.
• Brackets will begin on Friday afternoon at 3:00 PM at Cheyenne and Shadow Rock. Every team will play at least one game. Teams not getting a bye and winning their first round games will also play against a 'bye' team on Friday (with one exception: Game #19 is Saturday morning).
• Bracket play resumes on Saturday at 8:00 AM at Arroyo Grande, Cheyenne and Shadow Rock, and at 12:30 PM at Cheyenne, following the conclusion of a conflicting pre-existing tournament by another entity.
• Teams WILL move from initial Saturday complexes as they 'win their way' back to the primary site at Shadow Rock.
• Please become familiar with the Brackets before you get to Las Vegas. There is ample time for team travel built into the schedule, but not a lot of time to spare!

Good luck everyone!
