| Sept. 20, 2012 twotwo Men's 50 21 posts | Wall Ball? Are we going to be playing wall ball at the BLD fields @ Senior Worlds? Just wondering because some of my players need an answer...Thank you |
| Sept. 20, 2012 SSUSA Staff 787 posts | We're a bit unclear on what you mean by "wall ball". If you are referring to determinations of Home Runs, here's the way it will be played. Any ball hitting the plywood backdrops above the yellow line 'normal' padded outfield wall will be a Home Run. Any ball hitting below the yellow line will be live. Historically, this has been an easy one to determine because of the different sound made by a ball hitting the plywood backdrop as opposed to the padded wall. If we have misunderstood your question, please advise. |
