Phoenix
What bat seems to be the popular choice in phoenix at the winter worlds?I still havent seen many reviews on the new ultra or twilight, some people have said that they hit them but havent gone into much detail.

Not sure how the Barons did in the prelims but I believe they lost out in the bracket saturday night.

Thanks, I just spoke with one of the Barons players, they didn't do as well as they did in the nationals. Who beat you guys?

Was not a weak team there I think the only complaint at Desert West was the SUN in your eyes. Field 2 was deadly in early evening I was told .Field 4 SUCKED for leftys on sun morning I know for a fact O K I picther was a Master at putting the ball in the SUN and leaving it there F O R E V E R. bunch of nice guys looking forward to playing them again #9 Texas Players

Lefty9 I played middle for OKI and I feel your pain. We experienced the same thing on dia #2 friday night. It was brutal!! Not much the batter can do when he can't see the ball. It's unfortunate because all your leftys are strong hitters. Hopefully we'll match up again down the road.

The sun was the same for both teams. It didn't effect one tem more than another.....

Malo-we played 2 games into that sun-one each day. Yes it was the same for both teams, but if one team was hitting well it worked as an equalizer for the team that was not hitting well. I believe any championship games (especially) in bracket play should take the sun into consideration. This is a hitters game-nobody likes to play when you dread your next at bat.

Malo, it was the same for both teams no question. Texas Players had several lefites on their team and if you were looking at the mound the sun was on the left side of it. A righty could see it just fine.

Sun was very tough and did change the game for both teams. Especially tough when it happens in a Championship situation which it did.
