The list reflects entries received in the SSUSA offices as of August 22nd ... |
| Aug. 22, 2006 the wood 1020 posts | I can't tell you how much we appreciate knowing how many teams (in our division) will be there. We just made a trip to Salem (USSSA) and learned (2 days prior) that we had no one in our divsion to play. This link is a great idea. I have read many, many theoretical issues on the message board and it really helps to find one that is totally practical. I presume that the teams that are on the list are actually entered and that their rankings won't change in the next 2 weeks or so. bob woodroof |

| Aug. 22, 2006 DaveDowell Men's 60 968 posts | Thanks for the kind words ... Yes, this is the list of teams actually entered as of the date posted here ... The list is "dynamic" and will have additions as the 'late stragglers' come in ... Please check the link frequently, as we will not be posting a message each time a new team is added ... As for the rankings, that's not an area I have anything to do with at all ... Rankings will be reflected for each Division when the first Draft of the Schedules are posted ... Good luck to all! ... | Aug. 23, 2006 Mango Men's 50 64 posts | Hi Dave, I appreciate what you are trying to do regarding participating teams at tournaments. I'm somewhat new to Senior Softball and one of my gripes is the paucity of teams at tournaments. However are you sure of the accuracy of the teams listed, or am I maybe reading it wrong? I see Courtesy Auto listed as an entrant in the 40's and I know we will be in Alabama that weekend playing in the ASA World Series. Did I read the link wrong or is my team trying to get rid of me? | Aug. 23, 2006 Lecak Men's 55 998 posts | Mango I maybe wrong but the ASA is the previous week. If it is the 45's you are talking about, I have some friends from Jersey going to that one, they have been known to drink alot though so maybe they got their dates wrong. |
| Aug. 23, 2006 Mango Men's 50 64 posts | Lecak, I just checked my ticket. Courtesy Auto is going to the ASA 45's the weekend of Sept 8-10 in Alabama. Well at least they've got me on a plane going there that weekend. Aren't those the dates for Seattle? Dave- any info on the accuaracy of that "Participating Teams List"? Thanks, Mango |
| Aug. 23, 2006 Lecak Men's 55 998 posts | Mens' 40 Friday, Sept. 15 - Sunday, Sept. 17. My ticket to Seattle shows 14th through 17th. Good luck in Alabama. Hope the wather coperates. |

| Aug. 24, 2006 Mango Men's 50 64 posts | LecaK, Thanks, I just looked at the home page and dates for the tournaments listed. You're right the 40,s are the weekend of the 15th - 17th in Seattle. I was confused because my 50's(Roaddogs) team is playing in Seattle the same weekend that Courtesy goes to Alabama. I just assumed all divisions were playing the same weekend. However, I checked with Bully and we still aren't going to the 40's in Seattle. So again Dave maybe you want to correct that on your website. Thanks, Mango |
| Aug. 24, 2006 Mango Men's 50 64 posts | Snod8, Rick nice to hear from you. It looks like you'll be playing with a different team(softball whore) at the nationals this year. Just kidding, I spoke with Keith in Reno a couple of weeks ago and he told me that their Oregon team wasn't going to the 45's this year. Look forward to seeing you in Alabama in a couple of weeks.
