FHC Raises $1,000 For Wounded Warriors

Softball News ReportHillsborough County, FL – The Florida Half Century Softball Association (FHC) held their annual “Wounded Warrior Classic II” tournament here on March 7. In its second year, the tournament raises money for the Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball Team (WWAST).
With 25 teams competing, the tournament generated over $1,000 for the WWAST.
The WWAST, according to their website, “is a public charity whose mission is to inspire and educate others while enhancing the health and welfare of Wounded Warrior Amputees.” SSUSA frequently works with the team and organization, and they were a highlight of the SSUSA’s Tournament of Champions in Polk County, FL.
