DAVE REED INDUCTED INTO FHCASA HALL OF FAME

Feb. 1, 2010 – Steve Simmons New England & North Regional Director, Clubs & Leagues

Dave Reed, who was featured last year in the article “Dave Reed: A Shining Example of Senior Softball” which was posted both in SSUSA’s 2009 summer edition of the newspaper “Senior Softball News” as well as on the SSUSA web site under the Florida region, was recently inducted into the FHCASA (Florida Half Century ASA) Hall of Fame. Reed was inducted on January 17, 2010 at a FHCASA gathering.

Reed, a participant in the FHCASA since he turned 50 some 13 years ago, was recognized for his extraordinary senior softball talents as well as his contributions to senior softball. Other attributes that were mentioned included his positive influence on teammates and opponents alike and his outstanding sportsmanship and attitude towards the game.
