OHIO PLAYER DIES DAY BEFORE EASTERNS

James R. “Bro” Musgrave died the day before his team played in the Eastern Nationals in Raleigh, N.C.

Musgrave, 60, died after a long fight with cancer on Aug. 5 in Akron, Ohio. His team, the Steel Dawgs of PA, played in his memory the next day at the Eastern Nationals in Raleigh.

Musgrave played for a number of senior teams over the past 10 years, including the Ohio Silverados, Mike Pruitt Auto 55s, and the Akron Silver Legends.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn.
