WORLD MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Joint Operating Agreement between Las Vegas Senior Softball Association (LVSSA) and Senior Softball-USA (SSUSA) is about more than just a tournament or two.

It reflects groundbreaking efforts to improve the sport for players and teams on two important levels: Rules and Organization.

As you can see from the rule changes adopted on Page X, the joint rules for 2012 are designed to make the game more fun for everyone. We have dropped the home run outs (except for the AA Division) and made a major adjustment in the Major-Plus rules.

We are also combining the administrative experience of SSUSA and the on-site expertise of LVSSA, which will result in one of the best-run tournaments in the country!

This is indeed an exciting time. We expect the 2012 World Masters Championships to set both the record for teams and the bar of excellence for the sport.
