We have lost five players so far this year and need to add some additional players from Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Oklahoma or Arkansas. We especially need outfielders. Please call Bill at 913-492-1983.

Discussion: Reno Bracket Question

In the men's 65 AAA bracket there were 13 teams. Our team was seeded 12th and were lucky enough to beat the #5 seed in the first round on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesdy morning at 9:30 we lost. Which put us in the elimation bracket. We then had to play at 11 am, 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm. The team we played at 3:30 was the team we beat in the first round of the tournament. On Wednesday they played at 9:30, had an if game at 2 PM that was not played and the 3:30 game against us. Because the 3:30 game on Wednesday was only their 2nd game that day and it was our fourth with no break, they beat us easily.

My question is why is a team that wins the first round and loses in the second round given such a difficult schedule while a team that loses in the first round is given an easy schedule? Bill
