| March 16, 2019 miken44 | Topic: Bats Discussion: DUDLEY 2019 LIGHTNING HOTW just came back from hitting at d-bats in solon ohio my buddy bought a 26 oz 12 in barrel put a 100 swings on it no cracks no breaks hitting 44 375 balls the was flying off of the bat he is 74 6 foot 3 230 lbs and hits the ball hard was waiting for it to break but nothing happened that is why I asked is it just 14 in breaking more 12 in does anyone have info on that |

| March 3, 2019 miken44 | Topic: Bats Discussion: DUDLEY 2019 LIGHTNING HOTW there is a solution stop buying the Dudley there is no guarantee that it will be replaced if we break one odds with it being new they will replace it once I have been swinging a legit u trip bat this bat has roughly 2500 swings no cracks some webbing on it why does senior softball not allow you to swing u trip not much difference accept price and bpf 1.20 to 1.21 don't here much about asa or u trip having this problem Dudley needs to stand up pull there product fix it then release it again |

| June 10, 2016 miken44 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: would like an explanation why can't spa and issa and ssusa get together if a team is rated aa or what ever in one association why not be rated the same in all then when you would play a tournament there should be no higher ranked team playing in that tournament but it is still money that allows teams to play down because all associations want the money |
| June 10, 2016 miken44 | Topic: Bats Discussion: SSUSA Staff: Shaved Bats ongoing problem there are egos so if i hit the ball 325 ft some one else has to go 330 or better every bat should be checked for compression there are some guys in our league that we all suspect if you are caught using one you should face a 5 year ban but if you hit someone with a shaved bat or altered bat a life time ban send the bat to the appropriate people pull the end cap you will know then for sure |

| Nov. 21, 2015 miken44 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: SCREENS IN TOURNAMENTS 17 sorry to hear about your pitchers 17 and i both play in a 50 and over in the same league and have seen some balls hit up the middle that some guys would not of caught and the screen saved them including myself whether it is time to use them in tournaments or not is something that will happen when a pitcher is laying on his back bleeding and having a hard time breathing then it may be to late guys hit the middle and that is part of the game that we have played for a long time i for one would not like visit a friend or be visited in a hospital the screen would protect wearing all kind of gear in steaming hot weather is not good for any body |

| May 29, 2014 miken44 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Home run rule for handicapping we play 50 aaa to me let the major and major plus hit all they want that way they stay in the upper divisions where they should be in the aaa should play with a walk after you hit your three if aaa teams start hitting a ton of walks then that team should be looked at being moved that is where official score keepers would come in play |

| Dec. 3, 2013 miken44 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Positioning of screen protecting pitcher our league uses the screen it is set next to the rubber the pitcher is suppose to step behind the screen when he pitches for his safety 52core 275 ball it does protect them but at the same time tournys do not use them i have been hit in the chest and in the rib area more than once i had 3 heart attacks in 2010 and do not pitch very often all being said i think the screen works for our league because some of the guys are older than 60 |
