Discussion: Is it too much to expect ice water in the dugout?

when our team capp steel plays we normally have two coolers with ice water and gatorade for the guys to drink dont rely on any tournament site to provide anything to drink

we all play senior ball because that is were we are in life when you go to a tourny what bat is in your bag and what do you swing you have a choice either swing the senior bats or dont play we know what we swing are hotter than a asa 98 mph bat but we all have played long enough to also know how to hit a ball

potterville could be a nice place cut the lip from behind the infield mow the grass before such a big tournament water the infield down some to hold down the dust do something with the parking lot so you dont feel like your in the sahara and what ever you do dont drink the water they put in the coolers

tri18 the ambush is as good as advertised i have about 150swings on mine and the ball flies another guy on our team has about 60 swings and the sound is starting to change we are going out this week to hit so he can get ready for dalton we were in lansing like i said before the ball they used was not great so nothing was flying with any bat 17 black who can stroke the ball but was hurt never got to really swing like he can but i will stay with the ambush it is the real deal

when we were in lansing last weekend i swung my ambush the first day ball did not jump off of it like it had went back to my u2 ball came off little better but over all the ambush has out performed my ultra i would swing my ambush with a better ball what was used in lansing was a 375/ 44 but it was a dud have hit plenty with the ambush and it out performs any senior bat with a better ball

to all the teams that played in pottersville i dont think any of us would of cared were liberty would of been we would of all been happy to of played at a complex that would of been taken care of the out field was bad and the lip around the infield was dangerous guys were getting hurt balls would hit the lip and guys were taking them off the chest the water they gave you to drink was out of the outhouse for the money we pay just horrible either move the tourny or boycott it or find a spa tourny around the same time have not seen that much problem with a spa

seen the 454 in lansing some guys were swinging it i was not impressed with it did not seem to have the pop of black u 2 or of the ambush but nothing there had much pop ball did not fly the ball was a 375/44 but was not good actually swung my u2 over my ambush senior softball really needs to look at what there doing as far as balls also fields like pottersville or they will ruin tournys lansing was fun great town but the fields were a dessert only thing missing cactus and tumble weeds

the complex had a very nice concession stand with great people the rest of the place was horrible no chalk lines no batter box was outlined which normally gets wiped out but not even down on sunday morning grass was high and thick should of been mowed we were given 6 balls if you need more you bought them wasnt even a good ball 44/375 there are better balls to be used you pay 525 dollars to play a tournament and it cant even be on fields that are taking care of teams were saying that they would not go back next year if the park was not taken care of and if same ball was used and if they had to buy balls we pay alot of money to enter stay in hotels visit local restaraunts and bars so why put with low budget fields and ssusa providing and telling us if you need more you have to buy spa tournys at least fields have been good and balls are better next year will look at syracuse instead what are those fields like anyone knows
