Discussion: 80+ Rule change

I would like to thank the staff for responding to my comment. I think that you have players at every age group that at some time get cut because they cannot play the game well enough. This rule change will reduce the 80+ tems in 2015 and 2016. By 2017, you will be down to 10 teams. I have one further request, and that is that the staff take time to check with the 80+ and 75+ managers, especially those that have older players that may want to move up to 80+, to see what they think about the rule change. Again, thanks to the staff for all you do. BILL K

The new rule change for 80+ teams, where they phase out the 78 and 79 year old players over 2 years will have an adverse affect on the 80+ teams. You will have a two year period, 2015 and 2016 where you will not have any new players that qualify due to age. During this two year period you will lose players, so they net result will be fewer 80+ teams. We don't have that many 80+ teams now, why would we want to reduce the number. If anybody out there has any influence with the Board, they need to get this rule changed. BILL K
