You're equating the two of us
is most telling of you and your response,
SSUSA.
And that would be a majority opinion.

That characterless slur typifies both your posts
and behavior on this site
and SSUSA continues to do nothing about.
You reflect on our community as a whole
and specifically on SSUSA for their support
of you.

Hey Jeff.
SSUSA has a responsibility to all of us
to enforce it's standard for disparaging
conduct/behavior.
When characterless and classless characters
with bad intentions
can maraud and patrol at will
there can be no respectful web site decorum or standards.
SSUSA, like a policeman on a freeway
or a referee in any game
have to make a call.

Enjoying it or not doesn't change
the character of the participants
or their lack of character and class.
It's obvious to all Mark but maybe not to you
who and what's going on.
And where is SSUSA and their standard
on enforcing the rules against disparaging
behavior and instigators?
What purpose is worth their counter productive
response?

I went for maximum saturation with the 52 x 275 ball because the whole movement toward it
is wrong headed, flawed and will back fire
on softball if/when implemented.

I love to argue when I believe I am right
and hold that it serves
a greater good than just for the participants.
It teaches and stimulates responders
to learn more of what's going on around
and to them as well as what they presently
think and believe about themselves
vis a vis senior softball.

NCSSA Championship Manteca, Ca.
Fantastic weather.
6 Big League Parks.
I hadn't gotten this excited to play softball
in years.

Winners I saw before leaving were:
Who Cares
Bad Seed
Longhorns
Congratulations all you guys and all the rest.

Officials did a great job.
John Reedy and all the umpires,
Fritz, Jimmy and rest way to go.

We finished 4th after a 4 way tie for first place
in the upper division was settled by a slide rule
to discover who had let in the least runs.
Great time, great teams, great friends and satisfying softball.

We used Baden Fire balls and lively bats.
No one got really hurt beyond normal bumps and bruises
expected when going all out to win a championship.
But one game was lethal and gaudy as can be.
With 'exploding bats and balls' we played
the East Bay Oldies a major plus national champion in a game
where only 5 total runs were scored in 7 innings.

5 run innings served to keep teams from running away with any game
and a good to great time was had for all.

We got the best players and the best senior association
in the country and we love to play with lively bats and balls.

If you were a man
I'd take exception to what you were saying
but you're not.
But you ARE SSUSA's responsibility and
them alone to deal with
for the characterless filth
that comes out of your mouth.

Thanks, Ken.
But only to some
and nobody gets a pass at disrespecting me
or my friends.

It really is that obvious Perly
and I can handle a 100 clowns like them
on a bad day.
Lots of my friends say they'd come on line to support me if they thought I needed help it but
it's obvious to them, too, I don't.

Characterless clowns up to no good
and SSUSA doesn't want to do anything about them
or their standards for disparaging behavior.
They appear to have an interest
in what's going down.

Still pushing that 52 x 275 sock
as being a good ball to hit
for your friends and patrons?
You give all AAA players a bad name.

Sad pup.
Still crying out about how lethal our game is
while traveling 1200 miles to play with us?
Still calling us cowards and killers
because we like to play with good bats and balls.
Still saying were terrible athletes
and ego freaks because we like playing with good bats and balls?
Still going 11 for 13 with a ball where miss hits
work better than hitting hit hard
and think you're a good hitter?

Major plus mouth and AAA ass, Robert.
And your a couple short of a six pack
when it comes to both character and class.

Hey Webbie.
The 6-2 game was with a 3 run differential
between Major plus and a major team.
The actual runs scored in a 7 inning game
were 5 with only 3 home runs hit.
The wind was blowing in from left field to 1st base medium hard leaving balls hit right
side of center to right field
sailing out of the stadium.
Doesn't sound gaudy and lethal at all.

There goes the witless one,
Sponge Bob and his soft balls
disrespecting over 2000 men and women
of NorCal over and over again.
And SSUSA has never said
a thing about it or him
despite their standards about disparaging
conduct and behavior.

Gary C representing So Cal?
That's hysterical.

Disparaging comment number 1002.
You make ALL of us and SSUSA look bad.
But you always make ME look good by comparison.
Thanks.

That's a great point made with good intentions
yet I feel one should not limit the way
another thinks, or feels, or talks especially
when it comes to his religion.
Specifically, it should be left up to each individual to decide what to say
and when to say or refer to his religion
or belief in God as he may believe and see fit
in or out of softball
and in or out of this message board.

That's a lot of words to say
that not only should we not comment on someone's beliefs and statements regarding religion
we shouldn't and can't be telling him
WHEN and WHERE to make them.

I quote Jesus, the old and new testaments
all the time because they have
all influenced and shaped my being
and personality and continue to grow in me
as I grow.

Actually, Robert I pitched, hit and fielded
that 52x275 Rock ball I talked of eariler and it felt to the touch
just like the MTC 375 x 44 balls we were using.
It sure didn't hit or field like them
but I thought it was an MTC ball.

SPA for example with Ridge Hooks
is deeply steeped in religious principles
of the sincerest and most fundamental nature
by which they ground their sense of softball
and us when we're with them.
They often talk of God and softball in the same sentence and no one can or should find fault with that.
I think you're point is well taken, though.
No one should say anything to anyone about what they believe and their integrity regarding their beliefs, their interpretation or significance.
That is always and only what is between exclusively between any man and his Creator
and do so is of the most ignorant and egregious
behavior.
