I agree with you Paul...The Redwood City Reds are not only a terrific softball club, you guys are truly Gentlemen of the Game, win or lose. rest up, get healthy this winter, and we'll see you in the spring.

The best one I've seen is the JUGS pitching machine, but it does not throw regular softballs, but the dimpled balls. I saw one on Ebay. Here is the link and good luck!

Re: The Outlaw's tournament. Thanks to all of the Outlaw's Softball Club and especially your lovely wives and family for putting on a great tournament. This just proves that you guys have as much class off the field as you do between the lines. Thanks again! Mike Boatright - Doubleplay Softball Club

Discussion: Ultra II or Synergy?

C'mon guys...I need your input. Have used both & the ball seems to jump off the sweet spot really well, but can't decide which one to go for. I know the new '06 Synergy bats are due out next month. Any input? Thanx, Mike

Discussion: Age Requirements

I'm turning 55 in a few months & am tired of playing tournament ball with the kids. I have talked to several San Diego area league & travel teams & have been offered a position on their teams, but there seems to be some confusion in regards to the age requirements. One team informed me that a player is eligible when he is in his 55th. year, ie: if his birthday is in June he is elegible on Jan. 1. The team that they were playing protested and said that a player must be 55...no if's and's or buts...I think I may of opened a can of worms, but I just wanted to get on a competitive team and start playing ball with guys my own age. Any info. on this would be greatly appreciated. Mike
