| Aug. 27, 2012 Delaware Diamonds | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Cape May We (The Delaware Diamonds-75's ) plan to participate in the Cape May Qualifier in October. Just want to inspire some competition. We have been wondering where all the 75's have been playing---as our opponents have been sparse! Most of 2012 we played 70's. |
| April 24, 2012 Delaware Diamonds | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: 1st State Spring Classic. The DE Diamonds went as a 75 AAA team. We thought the tournament was well run. The fields were great so compliments to the field crew. The field in the back is a hike for us older guys. Maybe next year consideration should be made to open the service road to those fields. There were just a few glitches. For instance there should have been two umpires for the championship game. We did not like the awarding procedure. Our team won our division . We received a nice placque and medals so no complaints . The runner up team though got a placque for their MVP. There were no MVP awards for our team so why a MVP award for the team that did not win?. |

| Sept. 25, 2011 Delaware Diamonds | Topic: Teams looking for players Discussion: Delaware Diamonds 75 's I want to provide new competition in the 75 age group as I am tired of playing against 65's and 70's. I am starting a new team of 75 year old players who can do it all--run, field and hit. I'd like to get this team together by the Fort Myers tournament in November but no later than April.
