Discussion: In your whole softball career who was the individual(s) (coach, player, relative, etc) who had the most impact on your approach, development and how you play the game? And why?

Bill Puls and Mel Sogge. Not softball but they were my little league and pony league coaches that always thought I had natural ability. This was 50-55 years ago and I have never forgotten either of them.

Here is my take..I don't know Tim or Slap..But the question was asked and answered. It will never make everyone happy, but the answers seldom do..I have no agenda but just enjoy the fact that I am 67 and can still play at a decent level is a positive..SSUSA, I am sure will address this issue in due time..In the mean time, I will continue to enjoy what playing days I have left..Hope everyone has a great holiday season..

Discussion: Question regarding Senior Recreation Leagues

Here in Prescott Az we use 1.21 bats with Trump Stote balls. This year we lowered the age requirements to 45. We only have a few kids playing but expect more next season..We did have a few serious injuries this season and are talking about changing the ball...We do not use screens but masks are mandatory for pitchers..

Discussion: want to play senior softball

MTC: I also live in Prescott and play on Monday and Thursday..I play in the A Division..My suggestion would be to go early tomorrow and talk to both divisions..They will figure out where you belong..Or go and sign up as an extra...
DuWayne...A is the highest...followed by the I division and lastly the B Division..But we have had several players jump from B to A recently...
