Discussion: 40's USA Championship Game Auto Seeds 1 and 2 Regardless

Dbax your right old news and nothing will change from what I hear. There wasn't a problem warming up in Vegas to play! So with some strategy throw your seeding games which enables everybody to be healthy and fresh because you are not getting the 1 or 2 seed! I dont see where that is competion! Teams I have played with won't do that, but have played against teams that have in tournaments!

There is no doubt there is a flaw in the format and a disregard for teams in part of the Country. "Because that is the way it is"! Ah just like life sometimes it's not fair!

Dave, could a team be the only team in that Division in the East or West and basically buy their #1 or 2 seed?

Dave I'am well aware that seeding is what you do in a farm field. You also put stuff on it to make it grow if you know what I mean. I'm just saying there is a Midwest Champion, a Northern Champion and etc. Why preferential treatment to parts of the Country?

I know this has been kicked around before but to automatically say the East Coast Champion and the West Coast Champion are the #1 and #2 seeds is wrong. There are other parts of this great Country! I feel the format should be changed. In our division the #1 and #2 teams did not earn their seeds. If the teams are that good they should be able to earn their spots besides the perks they get for being a National Champion. Which is also a question National Champion????

I forgot to mention that the field maintenance was very good, they didn't wait for the last game of the day to redo the in fields. Great job by park staff

Just like to say that the Aurora sports park is a great venue to play softball! Only complaint was water, 100 degrees could have used some Iin the dugouts because we were not smart enough to bring some in!! Special bonus was playing the Scrap Iron Coyotes very great and classy fun guys to play against. Beautiful complex.m

Discussion: Stem Cell Therapy for Knees

We have a clinic doing the Regenexx procedures in Des Moines. I have had 3 employees under workers compensation get the procedure done on their knees from 6 months to a almost a year now. 2 have said that there was significant improvement and no arthritic pain anymore( both were on the large side if you know what I mean). 1 was a failure from miss diagnosis, he had a vertical tear in the meniscus and ended with surgery. We have had 1 elbow that said its the best thing he has ever had done. The stem cell is taken from the back side of your hip bone and all has said no pain from it that the shots hurt worse. I am going to schedule both my knees(bone on bone) in October because our office has said they would cover it with a small copay. It is an alternative!

Discussion: Which Home Plate

Sounds like you should have done what Clean Up suggested and used spikes and Home Plate said use super glue in a previous discussion. Wes I'm glad you did not get hurt on the play.

Discussion: home plate strike zone mat

I guess I just miss the old days when I could plant some stupid runner that tries to score when he shouldn't. I just put it out looking for ideas to better the condition sounds like it's not an issue until somebody gets hurt. I'll use the spikes and glue idea although the Field complex might not like that!

Discussion: home plate strike zone mat

Most teams put their big, slow, or injured players in the Catchers position. now they have to make a play, so stepping on the home plate strike zone mat that moves and slides, besides having a slick surface usually does not end up well. Then if you try and outsmart the mat and use it like a first base it moves away from your foot. My point is if you all ready have strained body parts this slippage at home plate hurts besides making you look more stupid not making the play. Can't we get a standard home plate strike zone mat that does not move. I'm sure I'm not the only one this happens to.

Discussion: Unloader Knee Brace

I have tried the unloader braces and did not notice very much difference. Slightly less pain. had to keep adjusting them when it was hot out. Tried a sleeve under them and same thing. Check into stem cell injections to the knees. We have had some progress doing this for employees on workers compensation rather than surgery. I am waiting on the insurance company to cover the cost around $5,000, but you are walking out of the clinic that day. The guys that have had it done so far said that the arthritic pain condition was not there anymore. The ultra-sound after 6 weeks has shown growth in the cushioning area of the knee. Could be something to it! Looks promising to me.

Discussion: Dudley Lighning 12 inch senior bat. Webbing

I have all 3 models of the Lightning and no signs of spider web or cracking, but have noticed the 12 inch end load seems to light up the sky when you connect with the ball! It has distance and lazer shots, very pleased with this bat so far.

Discussion: Prayers for NM players' family

Our 1st Interiors team would like to express our sympathy and thoughts to the family of Don Martinez and the New Mexico Diamond Cats. We never thought as we shook hands with Don after the game that this would have happened he battled the whole game with no indications of problems. Great competitor and pitcher. It made our team realize that it was just a game and there are more important things in this World! We lost a brother, prayers for him and the family.

Discussion: Partial Knee Replacement Experience

Looking at stem cell knee injections after the World's. Has anybody had any experience or no somebody that has had this done? I have one friend that just had it last week so the jury is still out with him, but he said it is relatively painless to get it done and was back to work over the weekend. Mike you just need to recharge your jets!
