Boogermanpincher,I agree that it was nice to meet face to face with some of the people who p[ost regurlary on this board.Congradulations on your teams runner-up finish at Plano.I watched quite a few of the games and You have a quality bunch of players. Also I couldn`t agree more with your post about the coaches and sponsors,as I did both for15 years.I could count on both hands the number of times that that someone said Thanks.I ran off some copys of your post and the next time I feel like complaining or hear someone else doing it, I`ll either read it myself or give it to them to read.It was vert well written.

Rabbitt,
Here is the skinny on these so called play down tournaments .What they should be called is lay down tournaments.Every year the teams that win AAA are either Major or Major+ and the ones that win AA are AAA or Major. It is a real joke how far some of the teams will go to play down instead of in there proper division.

OK lets hear from the Fla.players,is this true or just a rumor? If it is true I think that there are alot of people who may have an interest in filing a class action suit or individually suing the powers that have been screwing, not only seniors, but all softballers into the ground.

Discussion: RATINGS

I also agree with BP.I have also brought it to the attention of Terry. There seems to be nobody in charge of this area, which I findto be a real flaw in the rating system.Another thing that bothers me, is that according to the consortiums own rules, as posted on this page. When a team finishes 1st. or 2nd.in any of the assoiations involved they are to be moved up a division for the next year. What is being done, and has been done for the past 2 years is they are moved up at the beginning of the year, and when it comes time for the World Tourneys, they petition the committee and get moved down, and win the same division again. If the don`t winit ,theyat least send some teams home that really belong in that division.I thought that the move up rule was put in so that more teams would have a chance to compete for a World Championship.
