I don't think 40 year old's should be swinging senior bats. We all had to wait until we were 50 to swing them. I got drilled while pitching and had a couple other ones up the middle. So, maybe Tim should get on the mound and face some 40"s hitting at him. |

| May 3, 2018 gman67 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Knee Surgery or replacement I've had both of my knees replaced. I had my first at 51 and my second at 53. I'm going to be 57 this month. I still get knee pain but i'm able to play and run. I'm not fast but I'm 6'4" and 290lbs, so i never will be. The doctors told me I needed my knees replaced when I was 40. I tried the gel injections, they didn't work for me. I wore MCL unloader braces for years. It got to the point where my teeth hurt from grinding them because of the pain. I would see another doctor and do your research on replacement knees. I told my doctor that I still was going to play softball so he used the joint that we felt would give me the best chance. It has been a blessing! Your body will tell you when it's time, mine did. You have great tournaments that are run very well, but your bracket updates during and even after tournaments is subpar! |

What was the determination on the appeal that Miami Power had too many Major Plus players on their team and that their shortstop was only 53? Also, why didn't teams have to sign in for this tournament? |

I play Major Plus. The first time you try to run is scary. My quad muscles had a hard time firing causing me to face plant out of the box. Don't push yourself too hard but have trust in the work you,your doctors and PT. Best of luck in the future! |

Is this why they didn't get their required 5 games causing the mixed 40's/50's schedule? Or were they just showed favoritism? |

Superior 40's eliminated Team Elite. I don't see how playing three games back to back to back was considered kosher in the winners bracket. I congratulate AB Contracting for winning. They are a very good team. I do however disagree with the format of your tournament and look forward to hopefully whomever made these decisions to be replaced for next year! |

Some of the 50 teams never played against 40's while we played 3 of 5 games against 40's. Mid-Atlantic 40's had 3 losses in a double-elimination tournament. |
