Discussion: 60's looking for outfielders. Washington st.

I have played 60 AAA for Fire One out of Kent Washington. I was released early this year to allow younger players to move, I'm from out of State. I play outfield (all four) my arm is not a rocket however I can still throw well enough to make plays. I'm not a power hitter but will hit gaps for extra bases. I'm 62 and live in easteran Idaho and I'm willing to travel to tournaments. My email is dharvey1122@cableone.net

I have played 60 AAA the last three seasons with Fire One out of Kent Washington. I was released early this year due to a number of younger players moving up. Since I come from out of state I was let go. I play in the outfield my arm is not a rocket but still can throw well enough. I am not a power hitter but can hit gaps for extra bases. I live in eastern Idaho and will travel to tournaments. If this is the same ARO Glass team which Don plays for he will know me and should atest me as a team player. Discussion: AAA COLORADO TEAM

Scrappy6 I played with the Fire One team at Reno. We didn't play as well as we should have or was capable so don't hold that against me. They had a number of younger new players who play on their league team so I have been released and am available. I have occasional power but am more of a base hitter, I can run for myself. I played in the outfield but do have infield experience. I can be reached at dharvey1122@cableone.net or 208-360-0312

Discussion: Looking for a Team for NW Championships

I have been released by Fire One a AAA team out of Washington. They had a number of younger players turn 60- from another team. So I'm looking for a traveling team in need of a player. I have played mostly in the outfield with some time at third base. I am willing to travel to tournaments. My local is Eastern Idaho, I can be reached at dharvey1122@cableone.net or 208-360-0312.

Discussion: New home run rules

As for many senior players playing at any of the levels most do not or a couple of times a year hit homeruns. I'm against the change in the homerun rule and the introduction of the .52/275 ball. The bats and ball used today allow me to hit line drives through caps and an occasional home runs or a ball to the fence. With a change in the ball I now become a line drive out somewhere in the range of mid-outfield. This is what drove me away from ASA softball. The safety concern for the pitcher, the amount of homeruns based on the 40 years of softball just didn't fly. Don't take me out of the game just appease the bat and ball vendors in obtaining additonal revenue.

I have an interest in playing on a traveling team. I've played mostly on 50's AA teams over the last five years. I played on the 2005 AA World Champion team Boise Lightning and Lumber, I've played on Team Pound for a short time. I'm currently 60 years old I play second, first, catcher, and all of the out field positions. My current residence is in Eastern Idaho. I'm willing to travel with anytime to almost any where.

Discussion: Forming a 50+ team in the Spokane/Couer d/Alene area.

Yes I'm interested in joining a local (idaho) team. I currently play with a couple teams out of the Boise area when they need to add a player and with a team from Seattle on the same basis. I have played Senior ball for four years. I played with the 2005 SSUSA World Champion AA team from Boise (Boise Lightning and Lumber). I live in Idaho Falls. Play in any position with exception of SS. I'm 59 years old and would be available to travel to any in the areas listed. Can be contacted on this web site or email dharvey1122@cableone.net.
