Now we're playing 7 innings, not the usual 5 or 6. It is slowpitch, if it's a strike hit it, it's not batting practice, it's a game. |

It speeds the game up alot more than one would think. From my understanding when it has gone to the managers for their opinions the older the teams the more they want 0-0 count, younger teams want 1-1. |

I think pool games are terrible, they make you take an additional day off of work, they add to the possibility of injury and they make Sundays more difficult after playing those additional games on Friday. I would prefer double elimination with a guarantee of 3 or even maybe 4 games. Much closer to what young men's ball does. |
| Nov. 27, 2015 SS13 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: SCREENS IN TOURNAMENTS Not exactly sure how I feel about screens, I still play young man's ball and saw two pitchers get drilled this yr to the extent that they may never play again and have faced many doctors bills and alot of time off work. While i pitch and also understand it is part of the game, I also understand that we all need to go to work and play for the love of the game. I do think it really sucks that the guys that I know that hit middle only on purpose would never even think about pitching. They say I'm crazy for standing that close. |
