If every new bat was really hotter than the last then how come nobody is hitting 1000 foot home runs by now?

Is any ball field fences been moved back to allow for these "latest and greatest" bat?

Discussion: What the #@%& is a BATCH?

It seems I always hear that the 1st batch of any model bat is the best, can't remember anybody advising to wait for the 2nd or later batch.

Does the quality of the bats go downhill from there?

I recall Auto Industry insiders advising me to not buy the first year model run of a any car because all the "bugs" haven't yet been worked out. Wait for the 2nd year model.

Evidently, what theories that apply for bat manufacturing is no where close to that of automobile manufacturing!

Discussion: What the #@%& is a BATCH?

I have worked in the Auto Industry and can't recall ever hearing of a Batch of cars. Never heard of buying the first or second batch of cars or car parts.

What other manufactured products are made in a batch or run, is sold but the number of units in the run is unknown?

ALSO HOW CAN A CUSTOMER FIND OUT WHICH BATCH WAS MADE BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE?

WHY DON'T THE BAT SELLERS ADVERTISE WHAT BATCH NUMBER THEY ARE SELLING?

Discussion: Best website for titanium necklaces?

I see some people wear just one thin necklace and some wear what looks like 2 or 3 necklaces woven together to be a thick necklace. Does the thicker the necklace give more benefit than the thin one?

Is it the more of these items a person wears the better it works?

So if you use an aluminum bat, you can't hit a ball hard enough to hurt a pitcher?

Does anybody know why it is that in all forms of Baseball and Softball from T-ball to college to Major League, batting helmets are required for batting and base running, but in slow pitch softball is this rule exempt?

Did you bother to "break the bat in" before you declared it "no good"?

How many swings did you put on it?

As I was reading your comments on this thread something didn't seem to make sense to me. In your comments you stated that the use of Senior Bats in temperatures below 65 degrees will drastically shorten the life of the bat. Then you suggested that purchasing a USSSA bat with a 1 year warranty for the cooler weather to be used in place of the senior bat. The problem is that USSSA bat will not last much longer than the senior bats if used in temps below 60 degrees. Sure, you get a 1 year, 1 time replacement warranty, but both the purchased and replacement bats could be broken in just a matter of months if used in cold weather. A few years ago I did just what you suggested and during the cooler Las Vegas months I cracked 2 USSSA Miken Denny Crine Pyscho bats with warranty. The first bat I cracked was the one I purchased and the second bat was the warranty replacement. While I agree that USSSA bats will hold up better than senior bats during cooler weather there is no guarantee they will not break. The use of the U-trip bats is only a bandage and not a cure for use below 60 degree weather problem. I am still looking for a solution for the cool weather bat use problem.
