Topic: Players looking to join a team
Discussion: Vegas Player (45) looking for a tourney team

I am 45 and recently moved to Las Vegas from Sactown and need a team to play competitively in tournaments with again. I have not played in 40+ tournament since I was 40 for Scott's Softball Club out of Citrus Heights,CA. and my last torunament was for ALL WORLDS last December with a bunch of 20 yr olds and we won it all, so I am capable of still playing in the younger age groups. I would like to find a group of guys who still want to, and know how to win, but also understand the game and how it should be played.
I can play outfield but have been playing 1st base for the last 5 yrs as I have been playing with 20/30 yr olds and they are a lot faster than I am. I Played "ALL NAVY HAWAII" in 86/88. I won NC "D" State MVP in 2009 as well as a few other tourney MVPs over the years and many "ALL TOURNAMENT" awards. I usually bat 2 thru 5 as I can hit for both avg and power...

Anyone interested please contact me via email at corofin916@yahoo.com or call me at 916-380-7886.

Thanks,
EJB

They however can be a bit annoying to be around for that many hours/days and I would like to find a group of guys who still want and know how to win, but also understand the game and how it should be played.
I can play outfield but have been playing 1st base for the last 5 yrs as I have been playing with 20/30 yr olds and my throwing shoulder is not in the best condition after playing highly competitive ball since my Navy days as an 18 year old. Played "ALL NAVY HAWAII" in 86/88. I won NC "D" State MVP in 2009 as well as a few other tourney MVPs over the years and many "ALL TOURNAMENT" awards. I usually bat 2 thru 5 as I can hit for both avg and power...
